I climbed my first mountain in the U.K. in Edinburgh. It was called Arthur's Seat and I have to be honest and say that it took me a while to enjoy climbing it. I went in with a headache and feelings of displacement. But when we reached the point where we could see all of the city, it was worth it. I found my mood was blown clean off the mountain and I had such a wonderful time creating something that felt like true art while I was there. And can I tell you about these humans, cause they are incredible.
I made a comment in passing to Neeley that I wished these bushes were not full of thorns because I just want someone to climb in all of those yellow flowers. Before I could protest she had implanted herself in the bush. If that's not real friendship, I don't know what is.
Audrey was a real champ when I asked her to dance around with my scarf in front of those people. Like I said, real friendship.
Just trying my best to hold onto feelings in the heart of Tennessee.
