Waiting on Neverland

A story in photographs and words.

I left my heart in Neverland,
Left it beating in his fingertips.
It's all tied up in constellations,
Second stars and pirate ships.

My feet are planted on the ground.
I know this to be true,
But faith and trust and pixie dust
Tempt me to pursue.

But now I've forgotten,
Forgotten how to fly.
Why can't I dream again?
Peter, why can't I?

My soul is part of Neverland.
I lost it long ago.
And though I stand upon the ground,
My heart it can't let go.

Neverland I'm waiting,
Waiting for your touch
Your magic, it still haunts me
Like ink, you stain too much.

Just trying my best to hold onto feelings in the heart of Tennessee.
